What we do
Our aim is to spread knowledge of explosion safety in industry. We want to pursue it by inspiring people working in the industry to implement best safety practices in order to be able to protect employees and company assets, as well as the environment. We achieve this goal by organising training courses, conferences and practical demonstrations, as well as adapting industrial facilities to the requirements of the ATEX directives.
TRAINING / CONFERENCES / PRESENTATIONS / STUDIES
We have conducted hundreds of training courses. Our experts are practitioners who have been implementing projects for the industry for many years. By choosing our courses you can be sure that we know what we are talking about. It’s really rare.
The only conference in this part of Europe brings together international experts in the field of process and explosion safety in industry and stages practical demonstrations of explosions and protective systems.
As the only company in Poland and one of the few in the world we are able to carry out demonstrations of explosions and protective systems with the use of your product. Find out how serious a hazard it generates.
Facts in figures
We are not theoreticians
Our experts are practitioners who work daily on a wide range of projects in the energy, chemical, food or wood industries. We protect against explosion some of the largest industrial plants. We develop explosion protection documents, risk assessments, audits. We design systems compliant with the requirements of the ATEX Directive. We have the most experienced engineers trusted by hundreds of companies. Today we share our knowledge with you.
PROJECTS WE HAVE TAKEN PART IN
Power Industry Looks after Safety of Their Facilities – Explosion Protection Document for Four Heating Plants and Two Boiler Houses
Monitoring dangerous gas concentrations with gas detection systems
Project of modernization of a bucket elevator and chips containers
Explosion risk assessment of the starch and gelatin receiving, storage and transport system

Rockwool Polska – Maintenance Section Leader
We were extremely pleased to be able to participate in the INDEX Conference. I hope that we will also participate in the next Conference, equally fruitful in theoretical and practical terms.
Teva Operations Poland sp. z o.o. – Occupational Safety Specialist
I would like to thank you for organizing the seminar which was really valuable, interesting, and very well prepared.
Kompania Piwowarska S.A. – Production Manager
The training was highly successful compared to the other ones in which I had participated. The training helped to understand the interdependence with regard to EX zones between the systems users and the companies manufacturing engineering equipment or safety systems. Most often I attended training courses discussing the ATEX directive with slight references to the real problems resulting from the currently applied and available technologies or techniques. For a system user it is of crucial importance to be able to safely steer among the technology and techniques in compliance with law.
About INDEX Association
INDEX is an intercontinental association of experts operating in the field of industrial explosion protection. INDEX members take part in numerous working groups and standardisation committees responsible for the development of procedures and regulations on industrial explosion risks.
In Poland, any actions involving organisation of training courses and conferences as well as development of formal and legal issues for industrial plants are operated by WOLFF GROUP™ experts.
One of the main tasks of the INDEX Association involves operations aiming to increase the awareness of the owners and the operators of explosion-vulnerable industrial plants. This aim is being fulfilled by numerous conferences and trainings on:
- formal and legal issues related to requirements of the ATEX directives as well as relevant norms,
- risks arising from the transport, storage and processing of substances prone to explosive atmosphere creation,
- preventive measures minimising the explosion risk,
- explosion protection minimising the explosion effects.
Research and development
INDEX association conducts the research and develops technologies aiming to improve the industrial explosion safety. These activities embrace:
- developing explosion-hazard reducing techniques,
- developing explosion-effect reducing techniques.
